Meet the fantastic Miss Freckles! This delightful young lady is demure around people at first, but once she is comfortable, she loves people! Freckles is 3 years old and very petite, weighing in at 12 lbs. She gets along with other dogs and we are requiring that she goes to a home with another dog. Freckles comes to us from a breeder, and because of her breeder background, she is learning how to “be a dog” and engage in all that that means-belly rubs, naps in the sun, playing with toys, bedtime cookies as well as learning new routines and training. Though it can take time, it creates a really special bond when you go through this process with your dog! We can’t promise that she won’t chew on things or is fully housebroken however Freckles has done okay in her crate, which can be a great resting space for her while she is training. Fun, consistent training plus another dog in the home to show her the ropes will help her transition out of that breeder life into being a happy little dog.
